EMERSON

GREEN GALA

In 2015, I created the concept, and fully produced the first "Emerson Green Gala." The following gala of 2016 was very successful in growth, and the Emerson Green Gala is now an annual event at Emerson College.

Using art to promote a healthier planet, the Emerson Green Gala is a competition and celebration at the Paramount Theatre. Its mission is to drive conscious awareness of “Earth Day” and our environment into the minds and hearts of Emerson College students, faculty, and the Boston community. This event includes Emerson's SGA recognized student organizations, typically involving over 120 student performers, each crafting a specialized performance piece. At the pre-show reception, there are booths with inspiring guidance on how to create a better world and healthier planet. Previously, we used recycled playbills, provided gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian food (What college student can resist free food?!), distributed organic cotton t-shirts, and showed videos to exemplify the importance of this international holiday.

Our mission continues to celebrate our Mother Earth through diverse forms of young artistic expression, while promoting the importance of this international holiday known as Earth Day.

E3

EMERSON

E3 EXPO

In 2016, I graduated from the Emerson Experience in Entrepreneurship (E3) program–a year long immersive program in the study of entrepreneurship, teaching students how to build and launch a new business venture. I participated in the 2016 E3 Expo, which then organically morphed into the development of my startup, Entertainment for Change.
